The Hip, Hop, Happening Places for the Fourth of July

When you think of the Fourth of July, do you think of a day full of activities from pie eating to parades to fireworks? Let us help you prepare for July 4th with the best spots to spend your summer holiday!

 

 

#1 Seafair Summer 4th

If you want the whole nine yards, we highly recommend venturing out to Gas Works Park for the day. Hosted by Seattle Cancer Care Alliance, there will be food, drinks and entertainment. During the day, the entire family can take part in sack races, pie-eating and more. The day concludes with a firework extravaganza, and we mean extravaganza. Try 8,500 pounds of fireworks coordinated with a musical score! General admission is free and reserved seating is available for the best views.

#2 Fourth on the Plateau

Come for an evening of fun! There are opportunities for everyone including kids inflatables, giant Jenga, corn hole and more. No need to worry about preparing dinner, there will be vendors from BBQ to vegan pies to belgian waffles, something for everyone! The firework show begins at 10:00 PM after an evening of live entertainment. This evening of fun takes place at the Sammamish Commons Plaza at City Hall.

#3 An Edmonds Kind of 4th

Celebrate the 4th all day in Edmonds, beginning at 10:00 am with the Baby Brackett 1k and the Beat Brackett 5K! The children’s parade begins at 11:30 am followed by the main parade. The theme for the floats is “Edmonds- small town, big heart.” Between the parades and fireworks there is a Firefighters Water Ball competition accompanied by food vendors and some evening entertainment. #4 Fourth of July Splash

Have you ever wanted to learn how to juggle? Learn from Greg Bennick on the 4th! If you don’t think juggling is really your thing, don’t worry, there's still plenty just for you! There will be live performances from Isabella Carlone, Abigail Neilson, the Alec Shaw Band and more. In addition to live music, there will be a variety of vendors and a pie eating contest.

#5 The Grand Old 4th of July

This a day full of fun you won’t want to miss! Join others for the 51st Grand Old 4th of July celebration. You can be a part of a pizza eating contest, attend the traditional Pancake Breakfast, explore the All-Day Street Fair, experience the Classic Car Show and much more. The day begins bright and early for the pancake breakfast at 7:00 AM and concludes at dusk with the fireworks over Eagle Harbor.
